How to add a document to consultation notes to send to the patient in EMIS

1. While in a consultation, click Document.
2. Click Create Letter.
3. Click to find a stock document. You can use the Ardens catalogue or a search term. When you find the correct document, double-click it, then click OK.
4. The document will open in EMIS. Make any edits needed, then click File > Save and Close.
5. The document will now be added to the consultation. Follow the separate “Send documents to patient” guide on Atlas for next steps.
